What's in the kit?
What is NOT included
- spores/liquid culture
How to Use
Inoculation (3 minutes)
sanitise injection port and hands with alcohol wipes
flame your spore needle with a lighter, and wait for it to cool back down
inoculate grow bag via the injection port
2. Colonisation (4-7 weeks)
store your inoculated spawn bag somewhere with consistent room temperature, air flow and indirect light
(optional) when mycelium (white area) has spread to 60% of the bag, squeeze and spread mycelium so it is evenly distributed
3. Fruiting (1-2 weeks)
when your spawn bag is completely covered in mycelium, cut open the top of both your spawn bag and your CVG substrate bag. pour the mycelium into the CVG and mix it evenly by squeezing the outside of the bag
fold over and paperclip the first 5cm of the cut bag so the substrate is not completely exposed to the air
4. Harvest
you can tell your mushroom is fully grown when the veil breaks like this. you should harvest your mushrooms as the veil is breaking, or soon after
